An evolution of our high-performance LED lighting solutions, the Elite+ range features products with improved performance, light distribution and functionality. The improvements are achieved in part by placing additional yellow LEDs in each of the lights, which can either be combined with the already superior white high beam function for impressive nighttime visibility, at a slightly softer and more relaxing colour temperature. Or by the option to operate the yellow LEDs separately, with the respective light angled slightly downwards and to the edges of the road or track, making this function ideal in snowy, foggy or dusty conditions. The lights are designed to cycle through different lighting modes via a momentary switch. The lighting modes are: Boost (white only), Combo (white + yellow), Snow/Fog/Dust Mode (yellow only) and Low Power Mode (white only at low power). A memory function within the lamp means that the previously selected mode will be active when the vehicle is restarted, for example. Additionally, pressing and holding the momentary switch for 2 seconds will instantly switch the light to low power mode. The imposing nature of the Triple-R 16 Elite+ is reflected in the lamp’s performance. Thanks to its advanced electronic design, the light consists of a combination of white LEDs and yellow LEDs. When the light is operating in Boost mode, the white LEDs produce 18,040 gross lumens. Switching to ‘Combo’ mode, the white and yellow LEDs combine to produce 30,640 gross lumens, representing an incredible lighting performance for a safer and more enjoyable night driving experience. All LEDs operating in combination result in a power consumption of 332W and a current consumption of 22.3A (at 14V). To support the lamp’s operation and electrical installation, the lamp features both a 2-pin high-power Aptiv connector and a 3-pin Superseal connector. In addition, each lamp includes matching wiring kits on the side of the vehicle. The Aptiv connection is responsible for the operation of the high beam of the light, while the Superseal connections relate to: function selection, white and amber backlight selection.
