1. Our commitment to payment security
At www.edk.ro, the security of your payments and data is a priority. EDK CONCEPT SRL (Str. Duiliu Marcu no. 50, Cisnădie, Sibiu County, 555300, Romania, VAT RO39283859, Trade Register no. J2018000630329) uses exclusively secure payment channels operated by authorised financial institutions, and never stores full bank card data.
2. Available payment methods
a) Online card payment
- We accept debit and credit cards issued under the Visa and Mastercard schemes.
- Transactions are processed exclusively by authorised payment processors, certified under the international PCI DSS security standard (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
- Card details are entered directly on the payment processor’s secure page, not on EDK’s servers. EDK does not see, collect or store the full card number, expiry date or CVV/CVC code.
- Payments are protected by 3-D Secure (Visa Secure / Mastercard Identity Check): additional authentication via your bank’s app or a one-time code confirms that you, the cardholder, authorise the transaction - direct protection against card fraud.
- The amount is debited once, at the value displayed at checkout. EDK charges no additional fees for card payments.
b) Bank transfer (payment order)
- Payment is made to the account of EDK CONCEPT SRL: IBAN: RO77REVO0000394570788746 - Revolut Bank
- Please state the order number in the payment details.
- The order is processed after the payment has been confirmed as received. For transfers from other banks, settlement usually takes 1 business day.
- For your own security: EDK communicates its bank details exclusively on the Site and in official order confirmation e-mails sent from the edk.ro domain. If you receive a message asking you to pay into a different account, do not make the payment and contact us immediately.
c) Payment in instalments
- Instalment payment is available through the financing partners displayed on the Site at checkout, under the terms set by them (number of instalments, interest, eligibility).
- The assessment and approval of the financing fall within the exclusive competence of the financing institution, which will process your data as an independent controller, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- EDK ships the products after the financing has been confirmed by the partner.
3. How we protect your data during payment
- SSL/TLS encryption across the entire Site: all pages of www.edk.ro, including the checkout process, use an encrypted HTTPS connection - verifiable via the padlock symbol in your browser bar.
- Zero card data storage: processing takes place entirely within the payment processor’s PCI DSS-certified infrastructure.
- Anti-fraud monitoring: transactions are subject to the fraud prevention systems of the processor and the issuing banks; in justified cases, we may request additional verification before shipping the order, for the protection of the cardholder.
- Confidentiality: payment-related data (name, amount, order reference) is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, exclusively for order processing, invoicing and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Invoicing
A fiscal invoice is issued for every order and sent electronically to the indicated e-mail address. For legal-entity clients, the invoice is also reported through the Romanian national RO e-Invoice (RO e-Factura) system, in accordance with the legislation in force. All prices displayed on the Site include VAT.
5. Refunds
In the event of an order cancellation, the exercise of the right of withdrawal, or an approved refund, the amounts are returned via the same payment method used for the purchase - to the card used for payment, to the source bank account, or by settlement with the financing partner - at no cost to the client, within the periods provided by law and detailed in the Returns and Refunds Policy. The actual time for the refund to appear on your card after it has been initiated depends on the issuing bank (usually 3–10 business days).
