New coloured position light additions are now available, with integrated red, green or blue options alongside the UNECE R148 approved white position light. With a gross output of 6,800 lumens and a light output of 1 lux at 400m, the AIR-55 is a highly capable LED lightbar at a competitive price. In addition, the light distribution has been carefully engineered, with vertical and horizontal distribution optimised for on-road use, including from higher vehicle mounting positions. The high beam performance of the light is within the parameters of UNECE Reg 149 for a road-approved high beam light. In addition to the enviable levels of high beam illumination, all AIR products feature an integrated ‘dual’ position light, in white or red. In addition to the safety benefits, the use of the latest technology and materials has created a distinctive look, seen from up close and far away. When activated, the white position light is approved to UNECE Reg 148 for road use. The style and build quality of the AIR products is enhanced by the injection moulded polycarbonate monocoque lens. Offering a lifetime guarantee on the ‘indestructible’ lens, finished with a hard lacquer finish (an example of one of the manufacturing processes Lazer also manages in-house), the lens slopes down and under the lamp, with a textured look on the underside. The unique design of the lamp is enhanced by the innovative ‘Centre Mount’ system provided, which allows the light to sit much lower than the mounting point, for a sleek and clean installation.
