Emitting 6,800 gross lumens and with 1 lux delivered at 524m, the AIR-55 is a highly capable LED light bar at a competitive price. In addition, the light distribution has been carefully designed, with vertical and horizontal dispersion optimised for on-road use, including from higher vehicle mounting positions. The lamp is approved to UNECE Regulation 149 as a high beam, by adopting Lazer’s dual-output E-Boost technology; controlled by rapid on/off switching, the light can be quickly dimmed to avoid glare when passing road signs, for example (flashing on/off) or can be programmed at any time to always operate in high or low output modes, with low output mode complying with UNECE Regulation 149 as a high beam for the road. Amplifying the appeal of the AIR-55, the headlamp variant is approved under UNECE Regulation 65 as a narrow beam headlamp for nighttime limits (XA1) with 2 different amber warning light patterns, which can be selected and synchronized (between multiple lamps) at the point of installation or using a momentary switch where the flashing pattern needs to be changed on demand. In addition to the enviable levels of high beam illumination offered, all AIR products feature an integrated “twin” white or amber position light. In addition to the safety benefits, the use of the latest technologies and materials has created a distinctive look, visible from near or far. When the white position light is activated, it is approved under UNECE Reg148 for road use. For customers looking for a dynamic start-up or welcome mode when starting the vehicle or when the side/marker lights are on, the AIR-55 can be activated to either gradually intensify on start-up or gradually intensify while alternating between white and amber (or vice versa). The style and build quality of the AIR products are enhanced by the injection-molded polycarbonate monocoque lens. Featuring a lifetime warranty on the “indestructible” lens, finished with a hard lacquer finish (an example of one of the upstream manufacturing processes that Lazer also manages in-house), the lens flows down and under the lamp, with a textured look on the underside. The unique design of the lamp is enhanced by the innovative “Centre Mount” system provided, which allows the light to sit much lower than the mounting point, for a sleek and clean installation.
