The Utility-80 (Gen2) is a high-power work light, upgraded in 2018, that represents the best lighting performance through higher intensity and improved light spread, compared to all other work light solutions of comparable size and power consumption. Only thanks to advanced materials and electronic design it was possible to harness the luminous flux of 4 20W LEDs in a compact unit to provide a consistently high level of luminous flux, closer to much larger and more expensive products. Continuous advancements and the adoption of the latest and greatest LED technology mean that the Utility series sets itself apart from other work light solutions. The 80W LED power delivers 8,820 gross lumens, which are harnessed through ultra-reflective, vacuum-metallized optics, designed and manufactured using the most sophisticated CAD design and lighting simulation software available. The result - more light distributed over a larger area; the 50 Lux line, defined in HSE guidelines as the minimum effective illumination for outdoor work at night, is achieved at 14 m and with a spread of 74°. In addition, the LEDs have been carefully selected for their colour temperature, proven to maximise definition while reducing the fatigue and strain that can arise from using wider colour gamuts. The consistently high level of luminous flux is maintained by an innovative CAE optimised “Matrix” cooling system; the increased surface area ensures more efficient dissipation of the heat generated during lamp operation. This process allows the luminous flux to be maximised for a longer period of time, while the electronic thermal management system optimises the luminous flux, taking into account the environmental and thermal conditions of the lamp. In addition to its lighting performance, the Utility series is a product built to withstand and withstand the harshest environments. With a full 5 year warranty*, the lamps have been extensively tested to meet EU regulations for vibration, shock, corrosion resistance and water ingress, and alongside an extremely robust construction, the advanced electronic design ensures full EMC protection to CISPR-25 (Class 3) standards. Supplied with male/female Deutsch connectors (part code DT06-2S/DT04-2P), the Utility-80 is available with either a ‘Wide’ or ‘Slim’ mounting bracket, with an ADR approved variant also available. * - The 5 year warranty applies for automotive and commercial fleet use, all other applications are covered by a 2 year warranty period.
