The Carbon-6 (Yellow Dip) takes one of Lazer’s most iconic motorsport lights and makes it even more versatile. Designed for drivers operating in unpredictable and demanding conditions, the addition of a yellow low beam improves visibility where white light struggles. The white high beam, on the other hand, continues to deliver uncompromising performance. Alongside existing Carbon-6 products, the Carbon-6 (Yellow Dip) gives drivers the freedom to choose the solution that best suits their environment. Available with SPOT or DRIVE optics, each light operates in three modes: HIGH BEAM – BOOST MODE (100% power) HIGH BEAM (yellow light power, aimed down) HIGH BEAM – DIMMED (25% power, UNECE 149 compliant) The light also features an integrated backlight with white and amber color options. The backlight color can be selected at any time after installation by turning the backlight on and off a preset number of times. Repeating the same on/off sequence allows the user to switch back to the other backlight color. UNECE 149 approval applies to the lamp when operating in low power mode (25%), and the light can be programmed between road-compliant power and high power boost mode. Programming is accomplished by turning the lamp on and off a preset number of times before use. The same sequence can be used to reactivate boost mode when the lamp is used off-road or in regions where power levels above UNECE R149 are permitted. The lamp housing is made of high-strength and heat-resistant PC-ABS material, while thermal control is managed via a CAE-optimized anodized aluminum element, ensuring consistent LED performance in demanding environments. Weighing just 400g, the lamp maintains an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, while dynamic drive modulation protects the internal electronics in extreme thermal and environmental conditions. Like all Lazer products, the Carbon-6 lamps have been designed, engineered and manufactured in-house in the UK. There is no compromise on components or manufacturing processes to achieve a superior product. In addition to the lamps themselves, a black lens cover is included to provide protection during daytime use.
