In some cases, the new tow bar wiring is not recognized by the vehicle's ECU once connected.

This is generally where the vehicle has not been ordered from the factory with a tow bar pre-prep.

In this instance ‘pairing’ of the newly installed wiring kit will be required.

We have no way of knowing which vehicles have not been ordered with pre-prep so consequently cannot tell which vehicle may need pairing.
