ImpactStep – Design

The unique curved shape of the ImpactStep impact absorption bar matches the design of your car and complements its appearance. The curved shape allows the bar to rotate and absorb collisions. ImpactStep is available in two versions, Basic and Advanced. If you choose the Extended version, you get reversing sensors and high-quality LED approach lights, which are useful if you regularly leave your car parked in poor lighting.

ImpactStep - Productivity

The Rhino ImpactStep impact absorption bar makes it easier to get into the car and can significantly reduce car downtime due to collisions and therefore reduce total life cycle costs.

In independent laboratory tests, the ImpactStep withstands impacts of up to 5 km/h and impacts of up to 6 tons. If the ImpactStep is subjected to higher stress, it is designed to enter a safe failure mode to minimize significant damage to the vehicle body.
