Thule Onto 2 has a PFAS-free water-repellent treatment applied to the outer material, specially designed to prevent water and dirt from adhering to the surface. To maintain optimum performance, clean the box carefully using mild soap and water - avoid using a pressure washer. Allow the box to dry completely before folding it for storage. If the water-repellent properties diminish over time, you can refresh the surface with a waterproof spray, available from outdoor equipment stores.
