Snow Chains, König Easy-Fit CU-9 055

Easy, intuitive, fast

The name says it all. König Easy-fit makes fitting snow chains easy.

Fitting snow chains is not at all a complicated process, but it does require a little practice at home to get used to the main operations before using them in the first snowstorm.

With Easy-fit, König redefines the way to fit snow chains thanks to the revolutionary product technology, which makes life easier for users when it comes to fitting snow chains.

First of all, Easy-fit comes already assembled out of the box, thus not requiring any hooking/unhooking operations from the consumer during fitting. But this is only part of the Easy-fit advantages that stand out.

When it comes to fitting, Easy-fit stretches wide to achieve maximum extension to properly cover the tire starting from the top to the bottom. The tensioning is then activated by pushing the integrated pedal to the lower position.

The Easy-fit is tensioned at the first rotation of the car wheel and due to the special design of the internal locking device, the tensioning precision increases while driving.

The König Easy-fit is certified according to O-Norm V5117, UNI 11313 and EN 16662-1, thus meeting all legal requirements for winter equipment.

Features:

- Premium quality construction made of Hardened Steel Alloyed with Manganese and Nickel (MnNi) for greater reliability.

- 9 mm of space required behind the wheel and on the running surface.

- The spring-loaded mounting system makes this anti-skid chain very quick and intuitive to mount: from the top to the bottom of the wheel.

- The vertical aluminum bar that is located in the center of the tensioning system is equipped with a flap that opens and which, through a simple foot pressure activates the self-tensioning of the chain, so when the car is set in motion, the König Easy-Fit CU9 anti-skid chain arranges itself on the wheel.

- Quick release of the anti-skid chain from the wheel is done from the outside by simply pressing the red buttons on the vertical aluminum bar.

- Resistant plastic protections for alloy wheels (optional use).

- Clear and visible details designed in red for easy mounting and dismounting.

- The König Easy-Fit CU9 anti-skid chains are packed in an elegant and durable bag that can be used for transport or storage, or as assembly mat. Assembly instructions are printed inside the bag.

- For a longer lifespan, it is advisable that after each use, König chains be thoroughly cleaned and stored in places protected from moisture.

- WHEEL-SHIELD Level 1 offers full protection of the wheel against scratches caused by contact with metal parts. The inner face of the aluminum bar is protected with an anti-scratch composite material, and the side elements are protected with a specific nylon bumper kit.
