The Reflex Box is the one-click automatic tensioning device, the most powerful available from König so far. Fully integrated into the snow chain design, it applies tension to all parts of the chain, both internal and external.

The unique design and complete integration of the tensioning system ensures a low dynamic height and avoids interference between the chain and the vehicle's steering wheel.

Special design with low-profile cross members and triple-welded traction plates.

Wheel-Shield Level 1 offers full wheel protection against scratches caused by contact with metal parts. All components that may come into contact with the wheel are made of anti-scratch composite material, and the side elements are protected with a specific nylon bumper kit. Reflex Edge has a PE-coated spring that replaces the typical side chains that could be responsible for wheel scratches.

Ready to go. Forget about tangled chains: The König Reflex Cross comes already assembled and does not require the hook and loop fasteners typical of classic chains. Simply mount it on the tire and tension it.

Intuitive mounting. The intuitive or top-down mounting system involves mounting the chain from the top of the wheel to the bottom. Once correctly positioned, tensioning is operated by clicking on the red slider on the Reflex Box.

Performance on snow and ice. The Reflex Cross features the crossover-specific diamond design, composed of low-profile links and a triple welded bar system in the center of the tire tread. This specific design provides additional digging power and overall traction when driving on snowy or icy surfaces. Compared to standard 9 mm cross sections, the König Reflex Cross tread can provide 15% more traction and +20% stress resistance.

Automatic tensioning. The advantage of König automatic tensioning chains is that, once mounted, they tension themselves while driving, and the Reflex Cross is no exception. One click is all it takes to activate the automatic tensioning and at the first movement of the wheel, the Reflex Box will tension the inside of the chain, closing it. Et voila!

But the surprises don't stop there. The real wonder of the Reflex Box tensioning system is its complete integration with the Reflex Edge's outer spring, which in turn is connected to the bypass device and the inner spring. In fact, by connecting in series with the various components of the chain, the Reflex Box device can tension them. Let's see how. The Reflex Box contains a high-load spiral spring that, when activated, pulls the micro-cable and tensiones all the components inside which the micro-cable passes. A strong and immediate tension is modulated by the internal micro-adjustment device and is distributed over all the chain elements. The result is a significantly reduced dynamic footprint thanks to a chain that remains very tight under dynamic conditions.

Alloy wheel protection. No more side chains: Reflex Cross brings with it a real design revolution, which overturns the appearance of the snow chain.

This is also because Reflex Cross does not have external side chains, the typical elements that can be seen on the outside of the wheel and that connect the clamping units to each other.

The Reflex Cross design involves the use of a rigid harmonic steel spring instead of side chains, favoring the presence of the chain on the shoulder of the tire and not on the rim.

Each component in contact with the rim is protected by a composite material that does not cause scratches on the alloy rims. For vehicles equipped with low-profile tires, the Reflex Cross contains a set of rim protection buttons specifically for use on side hooks for low-profile tires.

Packaging. A practical bag made of 95% RPET (recycled plastic) also contains the pair of Reflex Cross chains in addition to the kit. The kit includes installation instructions, a set of rim protection buttons, repair patches, gloves, mat and warranty sheet.
