8-Bike Carrier, Thule ProRide 59 with Crossbar Attachment, Color Black

This is an upgrade of the previous successful generation, ProRide 591, sold in millions of copies during its 10 years of presence on the international market.

- Thanks to the unique design of the frame clamping arm and the wheel support feet, the holder automatically positions the bike when you fix it in position.

- Securing the bike is done quickly, by simply turning a handle, equipped with a click tightening torque limiter, this function effectively controlling the tightening force of the bike frame.

- The pressure on the frame, in the tightening area, is distributed evenly and over a good part of its circumference, thanks to the large clamping jaws, equipped with soft rubber pads. This function, together with the torque limiter, minimizes the risk of damaging sensitive frames, such as carbon frames.

- The bicycle is mounted in maximum safety conditions, eliminating the risk of falling sideways, thanks to the lower fixing jaw, equipped with an extension.

- The stability of the wheels is ensured by robust support soles, with an intelligent design, equipped with quick-release fastening straps, which now also feature a ratchet tensioning mechanism. Also new, in order to accommodate larger tires, but also for a very firm fixation, they have now been arranged diagonally on the support base.

- The carrier has an intuitive interface for positioning it on both sides of the car, for this operation no additional tools are required (like the old 591 generation)

- It can carry a bicycle with a maximum weight of 20 kg, a frame diameter of up to 100 mm and wheels of up to 30.

- Thule ProRide 598 is designed to be mounted on the T-channel of aluminum crossbars - Thule WingBar Edge, WingBar, AeroBar or SlideBar; using the 20x20mm T-track adapters included in the package. Optionally, using Thule 8895 adapters, mounting can also be done on rectangular steel crossbars.

-Compatible with the Thule One Key system, which allows you to use a single key for multiple Thule products.
