2-Bike Carrier, Thule Xpress 970 with Towbar Attachment

The Thule Xpress 970 bike carrier is an economical and efficient solution for transporting bicycles on the towbar. It is made of high-quality steel, treated with anti-corrosion treatment (for durability over time) and can carry up to two bicycles, the total weight of which should not exceed 30 kg.

The bicycles are attached to the carrier by hanging them from the upper horizontal bar of the frame, after which it is fixed with two rubber straps. Finally, to prevent them from swinging, the bicycles are secured to the frame with a quick-release strap using the TA982 adapter (which can be purchased separately). Thule 970 can also carry women's bicycles or mountain bikes with rear suspension, where the upper bar is missing or too short.

Mounting on the towbar is very easy, by simply pressing a lever. Optionally, by installing a small padlock, the rack can be protected against theft. And by securing the bikes to the rack with the Thule Cable Lock 538 accessory, you can also secure the bikes when stationary.
