4-Bike Carrier, Thule HangOn 9708 with Towbar Attachment

The Thule HangOn 9708 bike carrier is a convenient and efficient solution for safely transporting bicycles on the towbar. It is made of high-quality steel, anti-corrosion treated (for durability over time) and can carry up to 4 bicycles, the total weight of which should not exceed 60 kg.

The bicycles are attached to the carrier by hanging them from the upper horizontal bar of the frame, after which it is fixed with two rubber straps. Finally, to prevent them from swinging, the bicycles are secured to the carrier with a quick-release strap. By using the 982 adapter (which can be purchased separately), the Thule 9708 can also transport women's bikes or mountain bikes with rear suspension, where the upper bar is missing or too short.

Mounting on the towbar is easy, by tightening a screw, using the special wrench supplied in the package. Optionally, with the Thule Lock 957 accessory, the carrier can be protected against theft. And by securing the carrier bikes, using the Thule Cable Lock 538 accessory, you can also secure the bikes during stationary use.

Thule HangOn 9708 benefits from an intelligent folding system. The product is foldable and ensures access to the luggage rack only when the bikes are NOT mounted. For better visibility of the car's license plate and taillights, the optional Thule 976 license plate holder with lights can be attached, which connects to the towbar socket.
