The YAKIMA GATEKEEPER MD is a rugged nylon bike rack for pickup trucks. The durable nylon protects your bikes while the soft felt cover protects the paint on the tailgate. It can store up to 5 bikes. It is very easy to use and assemble. The bike rack is placed on the pickup truck's cargo door using the straps that secure it. (Despite the fine bottom protective layer, we recommend cleaning the door beforehand.) Simply place the bikes on the car's cargo bed with the front fork pointing behind the vehicle. Velcro straps secure and padded cradles secure the bike frames in position.

WARNING! In accordance with road traffic regulations, care must be taken to ensure that the rear lights and vehicle registration plate are visible at all times when the carrier is in use. The lights and number plate must remain visible unobstructed even after the bicycles have been secured to the carrier.
