Workmate, Practical Accessories for Working Pick-Ups

Workmate covers the accessories a pick-up needs when it is a tool rather than a lifestyle vehicle. This is the unglamorous end of the catalogue, and it is also the end where the products actually get used every day.

What a working truck needs

A vehicle used for trade or fleet work has a different priority list from a leisure pick-up. Load security comes first, because tools left visible are tools that get stolen. Weather protection comes second, because wet tools rust and wet materials are ruined. Ease of access comes third, because a driver who loads and unloads twenty times a day will not tolerate a system that takes an extra minute each time.

The range

Workmate covers load bed protection, load area organisation and securing, access aids, weather protection and the practical hardware that keeps a working vehicle usable.

Buying for a fleet

If you are specifying for more than one vehicle, consistency is worth more than the last few percent of specification. Fitting the same system across a fleet means drivers can move between vehicles, spares are interchangeable, and there is one set of instructions to learn.
