3D MAXpider, Three Layer Floor Protection

3D MAXpider makes floor liners built from three bonded layers rather than a single moulded sheet, and that construction is what separates them from a conventional rubber mat.

How the three layers work

The top layer is a textured carbon fibre pattern surface designed to grip underfoot and channel water and mud away from the shoe. The middle layer is a rigid core that holds the liner's shape so it does not curl, slide or bunch under the pedals. The bottom layer is an anti skid backing that grips the carpet without needing clips. Each layer does one job, which is why the finished liner behaves better than a single material trying to do all three.

Laser scanned fit

Liners are developed from laser scans of the specific vehicle interior, so they follow the footwell contours, the transmission tunnel and the seat rails precisely, with a raised edge that contains spills rather than letting them run onto the carpet.

Practical advantages

The material is odourless, lightweight compared with heavy rubber trays, and easily removed and rinsed. In a Romanian winter, where salt and slush are the real enemy of a car interior, a contained liner is the difference between a clean carpet and a permanently stained one.
