TorzaTop, Soft Folding Tonneau Covers

TorzaTop produces soft folding tonneau covers for pick-up trucks, occupying the useful middle ground between a hard cover and a simple vinyl roll up.

How a soft folding cover works

The cover is built from tensioned fabric over an aluminium frame divided into folding sections. It lies flat and taut when closed, folds forward against the cab in seconds to give full bed access, and can be left folded while driving. Unlike a one piece hard lid there is nothing to remove and store, and unlike a rolled vinyl cover there is no loose fabric flapping at speed.

Weather sealing

Perimeter seals and integrated drainage channels keep the bed dry. On a soft cover the sealing detail is what separates a good product from a frustrating one, because water finds any gap along a two metre edge.

Weight and fuel

A soft folding cover weighs a fraction of a hard lid or canopy, which matters for payload, and a covered bed is measurably more aerodynamic than an open one at motorway speed.

Fitment

Covers are specific to bed length and to whether the vehicle has a factory bed liner or cargo rail system. Confirm both before ordering.
