Thule, the Swedish Benchmark for Carrying Systems

Thule has been making transport solutions in Sweden since 1942 and is the reference point for the entire category. Roof boxes, bike carriers, roof bars, towbar carriers, roof tents and luggage are all areas where a Thule product tends to define what good looks like.

Why the engineering matters

Everything Thule makes is attached to the outside of a vehicle at motorway speed, which makes it a safety product rather than an accessory. Thule tests to its own standards for load, vibration, impact and theft resistance, and its products are subjected to city crash testing, which very few competitors do.

Roof boxes and bars

The Motion and Vector box ranges combine large capacity with genuinely developed aerodynamics, which limits both fuel penalty and wind noise. WingBar Evo aerofoil bars are among the quietest on the market, and the vehicle specific Evo foot system fits every current roof attachment type.

Bike and towbar carriers

Roof mounted, towbar mounted and rear door mounted carriers, including the VeloCompact and EasyFold platform carriers that handle heavy electric bikes.
