Aleo, Romanian Expertise in Load Carrying

Aleo is the own brand of a Romanian company that has specialised in roof bars, roof boxes, bike carriers, ski holders and transport accessories since 2005. The business started from a genuinely small idea, helping fellow skiing enthusiasts in Cluj carry their equipment, and grew because the demand turned out to extend well beyond skiers to cyclists, anglers, surfers and anyone who spends time outdoors.

Built on distribution experience

The company works directly with the established European manufacturers in this field, including La Prealpina, Farad, Hakr, Neumann, Peruzzo, Gev and above all Thule, whose Romanian partnership was the turning point in the company's development. That accumulated exposure to how the best products in the category are engineered is what informs the Aleo own brand range.

The Aleo range

Aleo covers roof bars, transport accessories and load carrying products, positioned to fill the gap between entry level and premium. The stated approach is a three tier offer, budget, mid range and premium, with the lower boundary of quality still kept at a genuinely good level rather than allowed to fall away.

European manufacture

Products are manufactured within the European Union to EU standards, which the company credits for its very low rate of manufacturing defects relative to total sales.
