BAK Industries, the Home of the BAKFlip Tonneau Cover

BAK Industries is an American manufacturer that has spent decades on one problem: how to cover a pick-up bed without giving up access to it. The BAKFlip hard folding cover is the result, and it has become one of the most recognised tonneau designs in the world.

The BAKFlip range

BAKFlip covers fold in three or four panels, lie flat when closed and can be folded fully forward against the cab to leave the bed completely open. The MX4 uses an aluminium panel with a matte finish and is rated for roof loads of around 180 kg. The G2 is the value oriented version of the same architecture, the F1 uses a fibreglass and aluminium composite for a premium look, and the FiberMax adds a painted fibreglass skin.

Revolver X roll-up covers

For owners who want a roll-up rather than a folding cover, the Revolver X2 and X4s use rigid aluminium slats rather than vinyl, so they combine the security of a hard cover with the compact rolled storage of a soft one.

Storage and integration

The BAKBox 2 toolbox mounts at the bulkhead and works underneath a folded cover, and most models are compatible with factory bed rail systems and cargo management tracks.
