Addictive Desert Designs, Arizona Built Off-Road Armour

Addictive Desert Designs, known throughout the industry as ADD, is an American manufacturer of off-road bumpers and armour based in Arizona. The company came out of desert racing, and that origin is visible in everything it makes.

Race derived design

Desert racing is the most punishing test an off-road structure can face: sustained high speed over rough terrain, repeated heavy landings and impacts at velocities that would destroy trail equipment. Components designed to that standard are engineered for fatigue life and impact energy management, not just static strength.

Bumpers and armour

ADD's front bumpers, from full width designs to stealth fighter and race series bumpers, provide winch mounting, recovery points and light integration while preserving approach angle and, importantly, working correctly with the vehicle's crash sensors and airbag deployment logic. The range also covers rear bumpers, skid plates, chase racks, bed racks and side steps.

Construction

Parts are laser cut from steel and aluminium plate, CNC formed and jig welded, then finished in a durable satin black powder coat.

Platforms

Ford F-150, Raptor, Bronco and Super Duty, Ram, Chevrolet, GMC, Toyota Tacoma and Tundra, and Jeep.
