Revolution Gear and Axle is an American manufacturer of ring and pinion sets, axle shafts and differential components. The brand exists to solve a specific problem: fit taller tyres to a 4x4 and the factory gear ratio suddenly leaves the engine out of its power band, the gearbox hunting, and the whole vehicle feeling slower and thirstier than it was standard.

Ring and pinion sets

Revolution produces gear sets in ratios from mild to extreme, forged from 8620 steel and heat treated, then finish lapped in matched pairs. Matching pairs matters, because a ring gear and pinion that were cut and lapped together run quieter and last longer than two parts pulled from a bin.

Axle shafts and upgrades

The Discovery Series axle shafts are made from 4340 chromoly with increased spline counts for builds that have outgrown factory shafts. Alongside them the company supplies differential covers, master install kits with bearings, shims, crush sleeves and setup hardware, plus lockers and spools.
