Auto-Hak, Polish Towbars Built to European Approval

Auto-Hak is a Polish manufacturer of towbars and towing equipment, producing vehicle specific tow hitches for passenger cars, SUVs, pick-ups and light commercial vehicles. The company has supplied the European aftermarket for decades and is one of the established names in the Central European towing market.

Type approval and safety

Auto-Hak towbars are manufactured and tested to European type approval requirements, and each hitch is supplied with its approval documentation, the D value and maximum vertical load for the specific vehicle, and the fitting instructions needed for registration. This matters in Romania, where the towbar must be recorded correctly for the RAR inspection.

Types available

The range covers fixed flange ball towbars, which take a bolt on ball and are the most economical and the most flexible for adapters, fixed swan neck towbars for a cleaner appearance, and detachable systems where the ball can be removed and stored when it is not in use, keeping the rear bumper clean and the parking sensors happy.

Electrical kits

Vehicle specific 7 pin and 13 pin wiring kits are available alongside the hitches, including versions with dedicated modules for vehicles with CAN bus lighting and trailer stability control.
