AEV, American Expedition Vehicles

American Expedition Vehicles was founded in 1997 and has become the benchmark for high end Jeep and Ram modification. What separates AEV from most of the aftermarket is the depth of engineering behind each product. The company develops parts to original equipment standards, validates them to OEM test protocols, and in several cases has worked directly with Jeep and Ram on factory approved packages.

Suspension done properly

AEV's DualSport suspension systems are designed to keep the vehicle's on road manners intact at increased ride height. They include geometry correction brackets, front and rear track bars and, on JL and Gladiator applications, the ProCal module that recalibrates the vehicle's own electronics for the new tyre size and axle ratio so the speedometer, the stability control and the tyre pressure monitoring all read correctly.

Bumpers, armour and wheels

The Premium and Heat Reduction bumper ranges are stamped and welded steel, designed to preserve airbag sensor behaviour and approach angles. AEV also produces snorkels, skid plates, rock rails, the Brute Cab conversion and a range of forged and cast wheels including the Salta and Katla designs.

Prospector

The AEV Prospector programme takes a Ram 2500 or 3500 and converts it into a fully engineered expedition truck, sold through selected Ram dealers.
