Superior Engineering is an Australian manufacturer of heavy duty suspension and chassis components, based in Queensland. Australia is a hard place to sell weak 4x4 parts, because the vehicles there are used across enormous distances on corrugated dirt at high speed with full loads, and Superior built its name on components that survive exactly that.

Coil conversions and radius arms

The brand is best known for its coil conversion kits, which replace leaf sprung rear ends with a coil setup for far better articulation and ride quality, and for its chromoly and fabricated radius arms. Superior's superflex radius arms use large joints that allow much more axle movement than a factory bush, which is what keeps a tyre on the ground when the terrain gets uneven.
