Bushwacker, the Original Fender Flare

Bushwacker invented the aftermarket fender flare and has been manufacturing them in the United States since 1968. When a truck runs wider wheels or taller tyres, the tyre throws mud, stones and water outside the factory arch, which damages paint and, in most European jurisdictions, is not legal. A flare fixes both problems, and Bushwacker has spent over fifty years refining how.

The styles

Pocket Style flares use exposed bolt heads for the classic heavy duty look and give substantial extra coverage. Extend-A-Fender adds coverage with a smoother profile. OE Style follows the factory arch line closely for owners who want the protection without changing the vehicle's character. Boss and Trail Armor add a more aggressive stance.

Dura-Flex material

Bushwacker moulds its flares from Dura-Flex 2000, a thermoplastic that flexes on impact and returns to shape rather than cracking, and that holds up under UV, road salt and temperature swings. The finish is a textured black that does not need painting, though paintable versions are available.

Installation

Most applications are no drill, using existing factory holes and the supplied hardware and gaskets. Where drilling is needed, templates are supplied.
