Ulter Sport is a Polish manufacturer of sport exhaust systems, rear silencers and tailpipes, supplying the European aftermarket with parts made in its own facility rather than imported and rebadged. The company covers an unusually wide range of vehicles, from small hatchbacks to SUVs, vans and pick-ups.

Materials and construction

Silencers and tips are produced in stainless steel, which is the only material that makes long term sense on a European car exposed to winter road salt. Mild steel systems corrode from the inside out within a few seasons, while a stainless system typically outlives the rest of the exhaust line.

The difficulty with a sport exhaust is producing a deeper, fuller note under acceleration without creating a resonant drone at cruising speed, which is what makes an otherwise good system unbearable on a long motorway drive.
