JW Speaker, LED Lighting Engineered in Wisconsin

J.W. Speaker Corporation is an American lighting manufacturer with over a century of history, and it is one of the few companies in the aftermarket that designs its own optics, electronics and thermal systems rather than assembling modules. Its LED headlights are widely regarded as the benchmark for retrofit lighting.

The Model 8700 Evolution

The 8700 Evolution series is the product that made the brand's name among Jeep owners. It is a seven inch round LED headlight designed as a direct replacement for a sealed beam unit, with a genuinely engineered beam pattern rather than a wall of raw brightness. The difference matters: a proper cut off line puts light on the road where you need it without blinding oncoming traffic, which is exactly what cheap LED retrofits fail to do.

Adaptive and heated technology

Some models include adaptive functions that adjust the beam based on vehicle behaviour, and heated lens versions that clear snow and ice from the lens surface, a real problem with LED headlights because they do not generate the waste heat that used to melt snow off a halogen unit.

The wider range

Beyond headlights, JW Speaker produces fog lights, work lights, auxiliary driving lamps, turn signals and tail lights for road, off-road, commercial and heavy equipment use, with ECE approved options for Europe.
