Old Man Emu, Suspension Tuned for Loaded Vehicles

Old Man Emu is ARB's suspension division and one of the most respected names in 4x4 damping. The brand's defining idea is that a touring 4x4 is almost never empty. It carries a bull bar, a winch, a drawer system, a fridge, water, fuel and passengers, and a suspension calibrated for an empty vehicle will be overwhelmed by all of it.

Matched systems, not individual parts

OME springs and shocks are developed and tested as pairs for a specific vehicle at a specific load. Rather than selling one spring per model, the range offers several rates depending on what permanent accessory weight the vehicle carries, so the ride height and the damping match the vehicle as it actually exists.

Nitrocharger Sport and BP-51

Nitrocharger Sport is the mainstream range, a nitrogen gas shock with large bore and a valving specification tuned per application. BP-51 is the premium bypass system, with external compression and rebound adjustment and a remote reservoir, which gives genuine control over both comfort and high speed damping without changing components.
