Motegi Racing, Motorsport Inspired Wheels

Motegi Racing takes its name from the Japanese circuit and builds wheels shaped by motorsport thinking rather than by fashion. The brand's designs come from grip, brake clearance and unsprung weight, which is a different starting point from designing a face first and engineering around it afterwards.

Why weight is the point

Wheel mass is unsprung and rotational, so every kilogram removed improves acceleration, braking, steering response and ride quality at the same time. It is one of the few modifications that improves everything at once. Motegi's flow formed construction stretches the barrel under heat and pressure, aligning the grain structure and allowing a thinner, stronger, lighter rim than a conventional casting.

The range

Designs run from classic multi spoke and mesh patterns through to modern split spoke and concave profiles, in sizes and offsets covering hot hatches, sports cars, saloons and increasingly crossovers and light off-road applications.

Fitment

Bolt pattern, centre bore, offset and load rating all have to match the vehicle. Confirm the specification against your car before ordering, particularly if it is lowered or running non standard brakes.
