FOX Factory, Race Bred Damping for Trucks and 4x4s

FOX Factory is one of the most respected suspension names in motorsport. The company built its reputation in off-road racing and mountain biking, and today its Performance, Performance Elite and Factory Race series shocks are fitted as original equipment to some of the most capable production trucks in the world, including the Ford F-150 Raptor and the Ram 1500 TRX.

Why FOX damping is different

FOX shocks are monotube designs with large diameter pistons, high flow damping circuits and generous oil volume. That combination is what keeps damping consistent when a shock is working hard for a long time, instead of fading into a bouncing mess after ten minutes on a rough track. Internal Floating Piston and remote reservoir options add oil capacity and cooling for the most demanding use.

Key technologies

Position Sensitive Damping varies the damping force depending on where the shock is in its travel, so the ride stays supple over small inputs but firms up before bottoming out. Dual Speed Compression adjustment separates low speed body control from high speed impact absorption, letting you tune ride comfort and bump control independently. Internal Bypass shocks bring desert race technology to a bolt on package.

Applications

FOX produces 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 series shocks, coilovers and steering stabilisers for Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, Ford F-150, Ranger and Bronco, Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, Hilux and Land Cruiser, Ram and Chevrolet trucks, and a growing list of overland platforms.
