MSA Offroad Wheels specialises in wheels for UTVs, side by sides and ATVs, which is a genuinely different engineering problem from building wheels for road vehicles. These machines are light but subject to enormous impact loads, they run very low tyre pressures, and they spend their working life hitting rocks at speed.

Why UTV wheels are engineered differently

A UTV wheel has to absorb impacts that would destroy a car wheel, at pressures where the tyre offers much less protection to the rim. MSA builds to impact resistance rather than pure load rating, with reinforced barrel sections and spoke geometry designed to deform predictably rather than crack.

Beadlock construction

True beadlock rings are central to the category. Running very low pressures for traction means the tyre bead can unseat under hard cornering, and a beadlock ring mechanically clamps it in place. MSA offers both true beadlock and simulated beadlock designs.
